Step-by-Step Flash Support Tutorials
The tutorials below will walk you through creating
private name servers
with a few different domain registrars. The following
steps will need to
be done in order to utilize your name servers:
1) You will need to determine what IP addresses to use
for your name
server(s). The name server IP's may be listed in your
hosting welcome
email. You can also determine this by opening a support
ticket asking us
the two IP's to use for the server you are located on.
Be sure to
include the server number or name your account is
located on.
2) Login to your WHM, and scroll down to the DNS
functions and choose
"Add a DNS Zone." Once you're inside the Add DNS Zone
function, you
will want to create one using ns1.yourdomain.com for the
domain and the
1st IP you received from support (or your welcome
email). You will want
to repeat this step using the 2nd IP provided to you for
ns2.yourdomain.com
3) This is the step where you create them with your
domain registrar. If
the place you registered your domain with is below you
can review the
tutorial step-by-step. If not, please contact their
support desk for
help creating them or submit a ticket to support with
the user ID,
password, domain name, and where you registered it and a
support team
member will be glad to help you create them.
